Jayalalithaa Disproportionate Assets Case: DMK to file SLP in SC against Karnataka HC verdict
Chennai, May 25 (ANI): DMK on Monday decided to file an SLP in the Supreme Court against the verdict of Karnataka High Court in Jayalalithaa's disproportionate assets case. A resolution to this effect was passed in DMK District Secretary's meeting held in today morning. DMK leader R S Bharathi said that they hope the Karnataka Government will go on appeal against the judgment given by Karnataka HC in Jayalalithaa's assets case. He added that if Karnataka Government fails to appeal, then DMK will proceed with the case as it has a locus standi to file an appeal.
